NATCHEZ — Services for Ruby L. Davis, 78, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Miss Davis was born April 10, 1934, in Natchez, the daughter of Ira Davis and Maggie Johnson Davis. She was retired from Adams County public school system.

Miss Davis was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Steven K. Davis and Ricardo A. Davis.

Survivors include one son, Ira Joseph “Jody” Davis of Natchez; one uncle, Henry Myles; three cousins, Frances Grover Lloyd, Wilbert Lloyd and Clarence Lloyd, all of Newllano, La., Lucille Anderson, Mary Myles Jackson, Theresa Myles, all of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
