Prep hoops roundups: ACCS girls fall to Parklane

MCCOMB — Three players scored in double digits for the Adams County Christian School girls, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to Parklane Academy 53-40 Monday.
Anna McDaniel led in scoring with 12 points, while Tori Laird tacked on 11 points for ACCS. Skylar Adams helped pace the Lady Rebels with 10 points.
Parklane led 23-16 at the half and 41-30 at the end of the third quarter.
ACCS will play at Trinity today.
Trinity boys 44, Oak Forest 30
AMITE CITY, La. — Scoring slightly less than they’ve become accustomed to lately, the Trinity Episcopal Day School boys were still able to pull out a win.
Dre McCoy led the Saints with 18 points, and Tanner Cage and Garrett Vinson both scored eight points apiece. Trinity led 18-15 at the half and 29-25 at the end of three.
Trinity (18-5, 4-0) will host ACCS today.
Oak Forest 54, Trinity girls 32
Marty Lewis’ 11 points weren’t enough of a spark as the Lady Saints remained winless on the season.
Sloane Young tallied seven points for the Lady Saints, who trailed 30-18 at halftime.
Trinity (0-21, 0-4) will host ACCS today.
