LORMAN — Services for Harriette Earnestine Smith, 91, of Lorman, who died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Waterloo Baptist Church in Lorman with the Rev. Leon Howard officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Smith was born July 4, 1921, in Lorman, the daughter of Walter Whitney and Pinkie Whitney. She served on the motherhood and usher boards at Waterloo Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie W. Smith Sr.; one daughter, Mary Smith; and two grandsons, Keldrick Smith and Kenneth Smith.

Survivors include a loving daughter, Minnie Suddeth of Lorman; three sons, Benard Smith, Willie W. Smith Jr., both of Lorman, and Roger Smith of Port Gibson; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
