FERRIDAY — Services for Elnora “Tiny” Milligan, 74, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Freddie Schiele officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. Milligan was born June 16, 1938, in Ferriday, the daughter of Tom and Lou Tolliver Milligan. She retired as housekeeping supervisor at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab with 38 years of service. She also worked for number of years at Fish Fry.
Ms. Milligan was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church choir and a member of combined choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Melvin, Jessie, Charles, Wilson, Mildred, Dorothy and Brenda Milligan.
Survivors include three daughters, Johnnise Milligan, Rosetta Tyler and husband, John, and Melissa Murphy and husband, Patrick; four sons, Eddie Jones III, Tyrone Milligan and wife, Cynthia, Arthur “Pete” Johnson, all of Ferriday, and MacArthur Jones and wife, Marilyn, of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Emma Conner and Willie Mae Spurs; two brothers, James Milligan and wife, Amanda, and Willie Milligan, all of Ferriday; 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one uncle, Leonard Snearl of Addis, La.
