VIDALIA — Services for Alberta Davis, 78, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davis was born June 25, 1934, in Vidalia, the daughter of Henry Darbin and Mary Fagan. She was employed by Concordia Parish Police Jury as a custodian.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ernest King and Frank Dailey; and three sisters, Hattie Pearl, Pearl Randall and Lillian Dailey.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Davis; two sons, Roger Davis and wife, Latoya, and Kale Davis and wife, LaDonna; one sister, Marilyn Buckner; and three grandchildren, all of Vidalia.
