JACKSON — Natchez native Andrea Nicole Gilbert has been promoted to accounting officer at Trustmark Bank.

She is a staff accountant and responsible for fixed asset management, prepaid contract management, project costing management and financial and regulatory reporting.

Gilbert earned a bachelor of science in business administration degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s of business administration degree in accounting from Mississippi College.

She is a member of the NAACP.

Gilbert and her husband, Kevin, have two children and are members of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Madison.

Active in her church, she is the PreK-2 assistant director for the children and youth ministry and secretary for the youth adult choir and works with the Sunday School and recreation ministry.

She is a deaconess and serves as their assistant secretary.
