CANNONSBURG — Services for Bertha Lee Pree White, 82, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cannonsburg with the Rev. Percy Turner and the Rev. Charles Kaho officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
A memorial slide show presentation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. White was born March 18, 1930, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Henry Pree and Essie Green Pree. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Prince Earl White; one sister, Doris Kaho; one brother, Lloyd Pree; one son-in-law, Jerry Bean Woods; one sister-in-law, Josie Pree; and one brother-in-law, Herman Kaho.
Survivors include four daughters, Helen Washington, Margaret Woods, Cherrie Jones and husband, James, and Connie White, all of Cannonsburg; four sons, Kenneth Wayne White, Prince E. White and wife, Barbara Ann, all of Cannonsburg, Sunus Holloway of Natchez and Kelvin White and wife, Barbara, of Fayette; one sister, Geraldine Pree of Cannonsburg; one brother, Willie James Pree and wife, Shirley; a special niece, Shirley “Mookie” Kaho; a special nephew, Charles Kaho; 26 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; special friends, Martha Green and Willie Mae Washington; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
