NATCHEZ — Temperatures are headed down into the 30s today, and more rain is headed to the Miss-Lou.
Ed Agre, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Jackson, said the rain is expected to continue through Wednesday, and the area could get one to two inches of rain.
“It’s probably not going to be freezing rain, just cold rain,” Agre said.
The rain will steadily come and go over the next few days, and temperatures will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s, Agre said.
“The only day that looks a little questionable is late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning,” Agre said. “It might be 33 or 34 degrees, but it looks like you’ll stay above freezing the whole time.”
The rain should head out of the area Thursday, and sunshine should return Friday, with temperatures in the mid-50s and 60s Friday and Saturday.
