WATERPROOF — Services for Carrie Lee Washington, 45, of Waterproof, who died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Jarrod Bottley officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Washington was born Aug. 9, 1967, in Ferriday, the daughter of Monroe Lee and Endy Washington.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Alexander; her father of St. Joseph, La.; her mother of Waterproof; two brothers, Tyrone Washington of Waterproof and Walter Hilliard of Clayton; five sisters, Linda Washington and Angela Clark , both of Waterproof, Lisa Leonard of Vidalia, Janel Clark of Atlanta and Mona Brooks of Baton Rouge; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
