Make sure that a visit to Concordia Parish Library is on your Christmas list this year!
Behind our doors await many books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and other materials to help you get into the spirit of the Holiday season!
Whether you are interested in recipes, decorating tips, gift-wrapping ideas, Christmas carols or handmade crafts to make your holiday special, the library has everything to suit your interests.
You can check out books to have on hand for your family and friends to enjoy or preview for gift giving.
If you are traveling for the holiday, be sure to take a few books on CD along for the ride.
You can catch up on your favorite authors or perhaps even find a few new ones. Remember, you can also download e-books from “Overdrive” with your library card number. The library purchases this subscription for you to enjoy.
We hope everyone was good this year! If you are getting a new e-reader device for a Christmas present, check out the library’s website www.concordia.lib.la.us and look for the “Overdrive” link. Step-by-step instructions for each device will be there.
Be sure to read your favorite Christmas story to your child, grandchild, niece, nephew or children in your neighborhood.
Pick up your favorite children’s book today like: “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “The Polar Express,” “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” or “While Shepherds Watched.”
The Concordia Parish Library Board and staff wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Sally Gilmore is a Concordia Parish Library staff member.
