NATCHEZ — Lester Wells got a hat trick for Adams County Christian School as the Rebels topped Chamberlain-Hunt 4-2 in their home opener Wednesday.
Wells scored his three goals in the seventh, 27th and 62nd minute, while Dylan Galbreath added a goal in the 72nd minute.
“Offensively, our passing, dribbling, trapping and overall ball control skills showed up from a lot of hard work,” ACCS head coach Jimmy Allgood said. “The whole team stepped up on offense and defense.”
The win improved ACCS to 4-1-1 on the season, and the Rebels will host Copiah Academy Nov. 24. They will then travel to Natchez High School to take on the Bulldogs that same day.
