ACSAR thankful for poker run

Sept. 15 dawned crisp and clear for the Krewe of Fat Mama’s Tamales second annual poker run.
The Adams County Search & Rescue Team, was the benefactor of this run. This is a sincere thank you from ACSAR to all who helped make this a successful day!
The Krewe and ACSAR wish to thank our participants, sponsors, donors for our shirts, and of course the people and companies that contributed to the door prizes and essentials (water, soft drinks, etc) that made this year’s poker run a success. ACSAR truly appreciates your support. This event raised approximately $3,400! Please know that this will be utilized for additional equipment needed to bring our new motor and the existing boat up to par with our community’s expectations.
The feedback received from the poker run participants was excellent and of course we are always seeking ways to improve our services to the Natchez-Adams County communities. Next year, please participate and support whoever the benefactor will be as the Krewe of Fat Mama’s is truly dedicated to supporting our community.
We want to thank each and every one of the people who made this event possible for donating their time, money, items and support.
A special thanks to our judges Courtney Feltus, Edward Lewis, Fran Christie, Kal Green, Stan Owens and Allie Feltus
If you were not around Sept. 15, you missed seeing some beautiful motorcycles on the road to benefit ACSAR. Because of people like you, ACSAR will continue the search and rescue mission of working through the sheriff’s office and the Emergency Operations Center to serve the communities of Natchez and Adams County with various types of emergency situations. Thank you for your support.
Let’s do it again!
