FERRIDAY — Services for Gladys Elaine Staggs Keith, 76, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, La., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou with the Rev. Jeremy Howington and the Rev. Gary Howington officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Keith was born July 27, 1936, in Centreville. She was a custodian at Ridgecrest School, a homemaker, and an active member of Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Keith was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franklin Keith; her father, Lester Edward Staggs; her mother, Mary Lee Ivy Staggs; one son, Kenneth Darrell Keith; one infant daughter, Carolyn Sue Keith.

Survivors include three sons, Richard “Ricky” Harold Keith and wife, Deedra, of Monterey, Robert Ray Keith and Larry Wayne Keith, both of Ferriday; three daughters, Debra Lynn Rials and husband, Tony, of Rayville, La., Sherry Gail Gray and husband, David, and Lisa Keith Parker, all of Clayton; one brother, William Floyd Staggs and wife, Lottie, of Vidalia; two sisters, Mary Helen Staggs of Vidalia and Dorothy Jean Ulmer and husband, Ferman, of Ferriday; special friend, Paula Keith; 10 grandchildren, Nikki Walsworth and husband, Brandon, Rick Keith, Cynthia Hewitt and husband, Jarrod, Ted Keith and wife, Emily, Ginger Keith, Ashley Taylor and husband, Jason, Breezy Keith, Logan Gray, Megan Roberts, and Robert Parker; 13 great-grandchildren, Chase Pugh, Brett Walsworth and Tate Walsworth, Mia Drane, J.P., Payton and Raegan Hewitt, Hayden Pound, Christian Keith, Ryan Cobb, Brooke Carnegie, Jordan Paul and Dylan Farmer; one great-great-grandchild, Kenzley Paul.

Pallbearers will be Corey Short, Josh Juneau, Johnny Money, Sidney “Tojo” Champlin, Justin Brixey, and Shae Wilkinson.

Honoray pallbearers will be the grandsons, and Donnie Wesberry, and Johnny Ray Peavey.
