Editor’s note: A court case conclusion published last week incorrectly listed the charge facing Travis Hutchinson. The listing should have read as follows:
Travis Hutchinson charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a convicted felon. Case bound over to a grand jury.
We regret the error and are happy to set the record straight.

Week of Aug. 17-23:
Edrina Fairchild charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Kayla Pruitt charged with simple assault of a law enforcement officer. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Curtis Bland charged with grand larceny. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Jomari Isaac charged with two counts of grand larceny. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Ryan McClung charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Vera King charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Monday, July 2:
Don H. Lee Jr. was charged with burglary of a commercial building on May 20, 2011. Case entered nolle prosequi on July 2, 2012 in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court.
Thursday, June 28:
Jamie Hollins was indicted by the grand jury for accessory after the fact to robbery on March 22, 2011. In light of the plea of guilty and sentencing in another case and per previous plea agreement with the defendant, this case is entered nolle prosequi and dismissed in Judge Forrest “Al” Johnson’s court.

Friday, Aug. 10:
Kristeen Harmon, 32, charged with possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Case dismissed — officer failed to appear.
Richard Thomas Junkin, 20, charged with public drunkenness. Case dismissed — officer failed to appear.
Arthur Jenkins, 25, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.
Dennis Cordell Jackson, 32, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.
Tramaryse L. Turk, 24, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294 minus $75 credit for time served. Must pay a fine of $219.
Monday, Aug. 13:
Tyrone S. Washington, 35, charged with disturbing the peace. Case remanded to files at request of officer.
Casey Lee Calcote, 19, pleaded guilty to beer/wine possession by a minor. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344. Calcote was also charged with running a stop sign. Case remanded to files in consideration to other pleas.In addition, Calcote was charged with careless driving. Case remanded to files in consideration of other pleas. Calcote also pleaded guilty to DUI 1st offense test refusal. Sentenced to 48 hours suspended. Fine set at $730.
Stephanie P. Eidt, 31, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files — motion of defense for medical reasons.
Melvin Harris, 56, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
Wednesday, Aug. 15:
Curtis Sanders, 38, pleaded guilty to open container. Sentenced to three day suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
Friday, Aug. 17:
Curtis Dromgoole, 58, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Total fine set at $415.12.
Nicholas Dean Butler, 27, pleaded guilty to two counts of malicious mischief. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count. Fine set at $294 on each count. Restitution set at $125 on each count. Butler also pleaded guilty to utility customer — defraud misdemeanor theft. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Total fine set at $735.22. In addition, Butler pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property — misdemeanor. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $444. Restitution set at $150.
Virginia Perry Jones, 38, pleaded guilty to seven counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count to run concurrently. Total fine set at $3,717.15.
Justin L. McGuire, 23, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 10 day suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
Mikel D. Chatman Jr. pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $494.
Monday, Aug. 20:
Rita M. Dunmore, 63, charged with possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Case dismissed — officer no longer employed.
Ronald L. Rollins, 55, pleaded guilty to DUI 1st offense test refusal. No jail time or fine set.
Jarrell Campbell charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files.
Taylor Marie Huff, 18, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
Anthony Proby, 51, pleaded guilty to open container. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.
Wednesday, Aug. 22:
Edwin B. Smith Jr., 21, charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Case dismissed — officer no longer employed.
Charles Marshall Smoot, 27, charged with simple assault. Case remanded to files; after one year dismissed as a stale case.
John Pearson, 48, charged with stalking — 1st offense (misdemeanor). Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $800.
Kendrell Williams, 23, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve five days in jail. Banned from Natchez Market 2. Fine set at $444 minus $75 credit for time served. Must pay a fine of $369.
Robert Earl Williams, 26, pleaded guilty to DUS — revoked or suspended. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $425. Williams also pleaded guilty to failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Fine set at $564.
