NATCHEZ — Even with a chance of scattered thunderstorms, there is a little of something for everyone this weekend.
Bowie Knife Show
The ninth annual Natchez Bowie Knife and Antique Show is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday at the Natchez Convention Center. Admission is $5 and concessions will be available.
“It’s an antique gun and knife show, but there will also be collectibles such as Indian crafts and old signage,” Dunleith and Bowie’s Tavern general manager John Holyoak said. “Although we do want to discourage people from bringing in any kind of weapons.”
Event promoter Mike Worley said 50 dealers are signed up with 80 tables, so there will be something for everyone at this year’s show.
“We have dealers from all over set up here,” Worley said. “There will be antique knives, guns and civil war items. It’s always a fun event.”
