RAYMOND — Adams County Christian School’s defense fought long and hard against Central Hinds Academy Wednesday evening.
But with several key players missing for the Lady Rebels, ACCS was unable to put any points on the board in a 2-0 loss.
Head coach Jimmy Allgood said three of his players were suspended, though he declined to say which three were unable to play or detail why they were suspended. Instead, Allgood praised his team for keeping the game close.
“Many of the other players stepped up and played aggressive,” Allgood said.
Allgood credited Merritt Murray on offense and Karrigan Eidt, Kaitlin Pace and Kristen Rhinehart on defense. He also said Amber Morace did an excellent job in her first starting role as a midfielder.
ACCS (3-3) will play at Laurel Christian School Saturday.
