Ferriday — A Ferriday man remained behind bars Thursday after allegedly stabbing his brother once in the arm.
George Taylor, 61, 333 Bayou Drive, was arrested Thursday morning on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy David Hedrick said deputies responded to a 911 call at 3:18 a.m. on Skipper Drive in reference to an ambulance needed.
The deputies found David Taylor, George’s brother, bleeding from a stab wound on his left bicep at the Skipper Drive house. He was transported to Riverland Medical Center and treated for the non-life threatening injury, Hedrick said.
Deputies searched the area and found George at his house on the neighboring street, Hedrick said.
No bond was set for George Taylor as of Thursday night.
