The title of this article may sound a little strange, but once you’ve read the rest, it will make a lot of sense.

If you are a business owner in the Miss-Lou and are striving to find ways to provide better customer service to your patrons and our visitors, then mark your calendar for July 12 with the word Twitchy.

The Natchez Convention and Visitors Bureau is partnering with the Mississippi Development Authority and Alcorn State University/Southern Hospitality Academy, to bring to Natchez one of the most dynamic, motivating and insightful speakers traveling the meeting and convention circuit today.

Stuart Ellis-Myers, aka Twitchy, is a dramatic model of self-inspiration and determination.

When he speaks of improving lives, he speaks from personal experience.

Since the age of 9, Stuart has “suffered” from Tourettes Syndrome.

Despite this handicap, Stuart has become an internationally known and respected speaker on communication leadership, sales and customer relationship management practices that yield measurable results.

He might even look familiar, as he has appeared in 12 television commercials. His seminars are as entertaining as they are inspirational.

The seminar is free, and we strongly encourage you to either attend one of the sessions yourself or send your employees to gain a new perspective on providing great customer service.

The event will be at the Natchez Convention Center.

The seminar is ideal for anyone who comes in contact with the public, whether they be a hotel desk clerk, receptionist or housekeeper, convenience store cashier, waiter/waitress/bartender, salesman, retail cashier, bank teller, or other face-to-face type employee.

Twitchy will give two separate talks on Thursday, July 12; one beginning at 9 a.m., with registrant check-in beginning at 8 a.m., and the second session will begin at 1:30 p.m. with registrant check-in starting at noon.

To register yourself or employees for the sessions, go online to www.visitnatchez.org/twitchy and fill out the simple registration form and submit, then simply check in at the Natchez Convention Center for the session for which you pre-register.
