Mr. and Mrs. John E. Taylor Jr. of Natchez announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Presley Ann Taylor to John Thomas Jennings, son of Mr. Thomas Frederick Jennings of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Mrs. Jill Margot Boyer Jennings of Pacific Palisades, Calif.
The bride-to-be attended Manchester Academy in Yazoo City and is a 2000 graduate of St. Benedict at Auburndale, in Germantown, Tenn. She is also a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.
Miss Taylor currently lives in Jackson Hole, Wyo., and is employed as director of Hospitality and Special events at the Pink Garter Theatre and The Rose cocktail lounge, which she co-owns with her fiancé.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. Noland E. Biglane and the late Mrs. Dorothy Steen Biglane of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. John E. Taylor of Yazoo City.
The groom-to-be is originally from Malibu, Calif., and is a resident of Jackson Hole. He is the owner and president of Peak Builders, Inc., a custom -home-building company in Jackson Hole.
He is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. William Kenneth Jennings of Santa Barbara, Calif., the late Mr. Richard Griffith Boyer of Chicago and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Stewart Strike of New York. N.Y.
The wedding will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Jackson Hole.
A reception honoring the couple’s marriage will be at a later date.
Invitations will be sent to close friends and family.
