NATCHEZ — Following a Thursday afternoon storm, approximately 550 residences went without power for a number of hours, Entergy Customer Service Manager Tim Runnels said.
Crews worked Thursday to restore damage to transformers and power lines caused by felled trees, Runnels said.
The most widespread outage occurred in the Liberty Road area.
Approximately 510 customers had outages after a tree snapped two power polls in half, he said.
Power to Liberty Road area customers was restored at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The remaining outages were scattered throughout Adams County, and crews worked Thursday to address the remainder of the issues.
