NATCHEZ — Following this afternoon’s storm, approximately 550 residences experienced power outages, Entergy Customer Service Manger Tim Runnels said.

Crews worked Thursday to restore damage to transformers and power lines caused by felled trees, Runnels said. The most widespread outage occurred in the Liberty Road area, where 510 customers had outages.

Power to Liberty Road area customers was restored at approximately 7:30 p.m. Approximately 50 remaining scattered residences are still without power, and crews will continue to work on restoring it, Runnels said.
