NATCHEZ — Deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s office helped carry the spirit of Special Olympics to Natchez Wednesday morning by taking a quick jog and the Special Olympics torch through downtown. Area athletes cheered as the flame passed down main street. The Mississippi Special Olympics Summer Games begin Friday at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi. Area olympians will compete in various categories.
