Kiwanis Club hosting pancake breakfast
Published 12:00 am Thursday, April 26, 2012
The Natchez Trace Kiwanis Club is having its annual pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church on 511 Jefferson St.
The cost for pancakes and sausage is just $5 a ticket, and you can dine in or carry out. We will deliver orders of 10 or more.
This fundraiser is one of our methods of raising the scholarship money that is awarded to a senior from each of the four Key Clubs in the Miss-Lou.
The Natchez Trace Kiwanis Club sponsors and supports the Key Clubs from ACCS, Cathedral, Trinity and Vidalia High School.
A senior from each club is awarded a $500 scholarship fund, and an overall Key Club member is awarded a $1,000 each year for four years for college expenses.
We need your help for us continue to support these worthwhile service clubs in our area.
Please contact me at 318-336-5258, Ryan Wingfield at 601-442-7411 or Tina Kahoo at 601-445-7005, or any Kiwanis member for your tickets.
