Mildred Hall-Davis of Ferriday announces the engagement of her daughter, Karena Faye Davis to Edgar Lee McClain Jr., son of Edgar Lee McClain Sr. and Barbara McKnight of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Arthur Leon Davis of Ferriday.

She is a graduate of Ferriday High School and a graduate of Central Louisiana Technical College in Ferriday. She is employed by Glenburney Healthcare in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of the late Arie Hall and Phillip O’Neal of Ferriday and the late Janie Mealey and Walter Davis of Doloroso.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by Big M’s Janitorial Supply and Sunshine Enterprise in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Janie Murphy and the late Sam and Beaulah McKnight, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be 5 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Concordia Parish Community Center in Ferriday,

A reception will follow.
