Mr. and Mrs. Robert Michael Bee of Lafayette, La., joyfully announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Bee to Dr. Tyler Donald Lash, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Lash of Shreveport, La.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Westminster Christian Academy, Louisiana State University and will receive a doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of South Alabama in May.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jeanie Bee and the late Robert E. Bee of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Warren Hinton of Crosby.

Dr. Lash is a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School, Louisiana Tech University and LSUHSC Medical School. He is completing a residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Humphries of Shreveport and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Lash of Cotton Valley, La.

The wedding will be an evening ceremony Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Brandon Hall Plantation in Natchez.

After the wedding the couple will live in Birmingham, Ala.
