Work of Natchez Inc. brings native home

Thanks to the work of Natchez Inc. in helping bring Enerfab to Natchez, I’m able to move back home to Natchez.
Enerfab recently contacted me for an open position at their new Natchez facility, Enersteel.
I drove up from New Orleans Monday night and visited the facility and had dinner with Enerfab COO Scott Anderson and the Enersteel General Manager Mack Van Eaton, and we got to know each other a bit, and we found that their needs and mine were in alignment.
I accepted their offer as director of quality assurance. My wife, Lesley Smith Shermer and I, along with our daughters, are moving back home to the city in which we grew up.
I write this letter to express my gratitude for a job well done by Chandler Russ and the entire Natchez Inc. team that helped put this deal together for Natchez.
My education and experience is what drove Enerfab’s decision to hire me, but I wanted to thank Russ and Natchez Inc. personally, for believing in Natchez and helping bring quality industries back to our hometown.
Typically, a guy with my skill set works in the big industry cities like Baton Rouge, New Orleans, etc., and it is rare for a guy with my experience to have the chance to work, live and contribute to the community I grew up in. Lesley and I are extremely excited about coming back home to raise our family and become part of the community with the rich heritage of Natchez.
Keep up the good work!
