Jermond M. Banks Sr., 27, pleaded guilty to shoplifting first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $444. Tuesday, March 20:

Jason D. Ray, 25, charged with grand larceny. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $3,500.

Marion Keyun Byrd, 24, charged with statutory rape. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

Charles Thomas Buchannan II, 20, charged with statutory rape. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

Billye M. Wilkinson, 42, charged with embezzlement less than $500/misdemeanor. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $40,000.

Wednesday, March 21:

Cody L. Vestal, 32, charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Case remanded to files on motion of officer and agreed by judge. $100 suspended.

Tyrone Davis Jr., 41, pleaded guilty to shoplifting 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $469.

Johnny Lee Marshall, 45, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with damage to property on an adjacent roadway. Fine set at $255.

Natasha Letcher pleaded guilty to violating the city’s noise ordinance. Sentenced to three days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $249.

Jimmie Love Johnson Jr., 58, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. On request of affaint and consent of court, this case is reduced to a warning.

Derrick F. Davis Jr., 21, charged with two counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Case dismissed. All fines satisfied through DA office.

Dwayne Moore, 40, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $464.

Brandon Jamal McKnight, 18, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.
