FERRIDAY — The Ferriday Police Department will hand over a case to the District Attorney’s Office today regarding an alleged incident that occurred in Ferriday Saturday afternoon.

A complaint was filed at the Ferriday Police Department by Jim Whittington against District 1 alderman Tron McCoy.

Police Chief Johnny Evans said he collected more statements from witnesses today, but would not comment on the incident report.

Evans said he will deliver the report to the District Attorney’s Office today.
