Egg hunt age maximum lowered to 7

After 53 years, the Miss-Lou Easter Egg Hunt is changing its age limit on the egg hunt.
This is my 20th year of working with the egg hunt, and there are several reasons for this. I can only say that each year there is always an incident that causes problems with the hunt.
The older children seem to be the ones that cause the problems. I have decided this year to limit the age of attending the hunt to 7 years or younger.
This hunt has been the largest Easter egg hunt in the Miss-Lou, and we average 500 kids at the hunt.
Some years, we have had close to 700 children.
The egg hunt is free to all of the children of the Miss-Lou, and we look forward to having another very successful egg hunt this year.
The hunt this year will be the Saturday before Easter, which is April 7.
The first egg hunt will start at 10 a.m. at Duncan Park.
So, children ages 7 and under, don’t forget your Easter baskets and we’ll see you at Duncan Park at 10 a.m. April 7.
