Calling all caring hearts!
If the right to life is a cause that you care deeply about, and you wish that there were something meaningful that you could do about it, here is your opportunity.
Caring Hearts Pregnancy Resource Center is preparing to open the first center in the Natchez area devoted entirely to one effort — saving the lives of unborn children.
Our aim is to provide needed services including counseling, referrals and practical assistance for women who find themselves in difficult circumstances and need compassion, direction and a helping hand to enable them to make life-affirming choices for themselves and their babies.
To do this, we need volunteers. That’s where you come in.
If you are able to give one morning a month, or one afternoon, to help at the center, we need you. All you need is a caring heart. We will provide the training.
Two volunteers will serve together at all times, so you can work as a team.
It is due to the generosity — and the caring hearts — of New Covenant Presbyterian Church on Homochitto Street that we are able to begin this ministry.
That congregation and its pastor, the Rev. Dennis Flach have long been supportive of the sanctity of life. For this reason, they have offered us the use of a room in their all-purpose building next to the church as a first home for the center while we continue looking for a permanent location.
We are forever indebted to them for the confidence they have placed in us.
Please help us deserve it.
If you want to make a real difference in the lives of others and would like to take part in this program, or if you just want to know more about it, please call me at 601-445-5783 or contact Ruth Powers at caringheartsprc@yahoo.com.
We hope to hear from you.
