You can time lights at night

Regarding a letter in The Democrat on Feb. 15, “Why must we stop at 2 a.m.?” I’d like to say the following.
I travel the same route each morning — from Ferriday to Natchez’s Walmart via route 84 to U.S. 61.
On most days, I can time the traffic lights by driving the speed limit and just sailing through the intersections on the green light. No problem.
Also, most people don’t have this problem because they are at home in bed.
