NATCHEZ — Services for James “Patrick” Cooley, 22, of Leesville, La., who died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, in Ruston will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Father Paul Kunnumpuram officiating.
Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Part Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Cooley was born Feb. 2, 1990, in Natchez, the son of Henry A. “Hank” Cooley Jr. and Hilary Lynne McCall Cooley.
Mr. Cooley was an honor graduate of Leesville High School and a proud member of Sigma Phi fraternity at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. He touched so many lives in his short life, and he will be missed forever.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Henry Cooley Sr.
Survivors include his parents, Henry A. “Hank” Cooley Jr. and Hilary Lynne McCall Cooley of Leesville; brothers, Trey Cooley, Tyler Cooley and Kristopher Cooley, all of Leesville; sister, Madi Cooley of Leesville; grandfather, Jimmy McCall of Alexandria; grandmothers, Louise Cooley, of Jena, and Nancy McCall, of Marksville; uncles, James McCall, of Marksville, Bernie Cooley and wife, Shannon, of Jena, David Cooley and wife, Reneé, of Vidalia, and cousins, Katie Cooley, Ashie Cooley, Sam Cooley, Matt Cooley and Ainsley McCall.
Pallbearers will be Franklin Bernard Cooley, David Cooley, James McCall, Billy Ray Farmer and Ronald Slayton.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sigma Phi fraternity.
