Good morning! On behalf of the third-grade students, teachers and principals at McLaurin Elementary School, I would like to extend a million “thanks” to the friendly staff at The Natchez Democrat!

Everyone from the newspaper seemed very enthused about assisting our students.

The Accelerated Reader kickoff we hosted together Friday was truly a success.

The students are going bananas already about reading and asking to go the library to check out books.

So, we are really looking forward to having a wonderful second semester, and we do appreciate your partnership!
