The Natchez Festival of Music Guild invites you to our annual membership party at 5:30 on Monday at 602 South Union St., the home of Pat and Connie Burns.

There will be light refreshments, violin music by Anton Zholondz and information about our upcoming Valentine celebrations and the 2012 Season for the Natchez Festival of Music. The guild is the part of the Natchez Festival of Music organization, which works to support the goals of the festival and to encourage public participation.

It is open to all who would like to join in this effort.

Membership in the guild allows you to participate in special events that we have for our artists each year, to interact personally with the artists and to help enable the Natchez Festival of Music to continue for its 22nd year of bringing world-class music to Natchez and the surrounding areas.

Each year the guild has hosted a wonderful Valentine Gala, and this year it will again be fantastic!

Our party, “Love Is A Many-Splendored Thing,” will feature music by festival favorites David Shenton and his wife, Erin Shields; elegant hors d’oeuvre and a live auction, which includes vacation spots such as a villa in Italy for a week, beach condos, B&Bs and a wide assortment of other appealing luxury items.

An added attraction this year will be a Valentine champagne luncheon and jazz concert by David and Erin at BriarVue. Reservations for this are limited, so please make your plans early.
