FERRIDAY — Tuesday’s Town of Ferriday Board of Aldermen meeting was canceled because of a lack of members present to make a quorum.

Town Clerk Cotrina Thompson said Alderwoman Gloria Lloyd, Alderwoman Gail Pryor and Alderman Elijah Banks were present.

Alderwoman Somer Lance was not present.

Mayor Glen McGlothin was absent because of health reasons.

Alderman Johnnie Brown was unable to make the meeting in time after a doctor’s appointment. Town Attorney Anna Ferguson arrived after the meeting had been canceled.

The next board of aldermen meeting will be Feb. 14.
