NATCHEZ — Services for Willie “Pete” Jones, 51, of Natchez, who died Dec. 22, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Clarmount Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Micheal A. White officiating.

Burial will follow at the Clarmount Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Jones was born to parents Johnnie and Dorothy Banks Jones on Aug. 26, 1960, in Adams County.

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; one niece, Cecelia Banks and numerous uncles and aunts.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife and mate of 25 years, Jeannie Johnson-Jones; three sister, Augustine Knight, Brenda and husband Dwight Thornsburg and Shanta and husband Bryan Butler, all of Natchez; four brothers, James and wife Connie Banks, Eddie Jones and Jessie Jones, all of Natchez, and Samuel and wife Patricia Jones of Gulfport; two stepchildren, Anitra Fulton and Adrian Johnson; five grandchildren, Octavian Fulton, Ashleigh Fulton, Kaithlyn Fulton, Maliya Johnson and Adrian Johnson; six aunts, Augustine Reynolds, Edna Rouse Strauder, Thelma Jones, Dorothy L. Jones, all of Natchez, Lucille Brown of Baton Rouge and Melinda Davis of Detroit; one great aunt, Celestine Joel of Natchez; mother-in-law Dorothy M. Johnson of Natchez, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
