JACKSON — The Home Builders Association of Mississippi Build PAC has made an additional contribution to senator-elect Melanie Sojourner. The statewide trade association that represents the residential housing industry helped senator-elect Sojourner during her campaign.
“We are excited about Melanie’s focus on economic development and bringing jobs to Mississippi,” said Dick Thompson, government affairs chairman of the 2,200 member Home Builders Association. On behalf of the Build PAC, Thompson, owner of Live Oak Landscapes and Construction, presented Melanie with the contribution.
