As mayor of the City of Vidalia, I would like to support the Operation G.R.I.T.S. for soldiers.

Operation G.R.I.T.S. stands for Gifts Raised in the South.

The Miss-Lou has a chance to show its generosity and patriotism for our troops. We want our troops to know their unselfish service is appreciated, and their loyalty to our country is something we shall never forget or take for granted.

Consequently, I would like to speak for the citizens of the City of Vidalia and say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
