Superintendent should be a leader

I attended the meeting last week on the issue of a new school superintendent.
This is a great start, and all the comments were well taken.
However, I would like to suggest that a new superintendent should be well-educated and impartial and he or she should not be pressured by individuals in the community.
Also, he or she should have leadership qualities that will allow a superintendent to work with individuals who have different but effective teaching abilities for the benefit of all the students.
