Get your Halloween candy downtown
Published 12:09 am Sunday, October 30, 2011
Once again the Natchez Downtown merchants and the Natchez Downtown Development Association are presenting Trick or Treat for Little Feet for Halloween.
Join us downtown from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday for safe family fun as participating downtown merchants offer candy and treats — no tricks involved!
Merchants on Main Street, Commerce and Franklin will be open to hand out candy and celebrate Halloween, Natchez style. This year, the Natchez-Adams-Wilkinson Library service will also be downtown to add to the festivities. It will be safe, fun and is free! Make downtown Natchez the first stop for your Halloween celebrations.
Bring you little ones in their Halloween costumes — and wear your own! Even if you don’t want to dress up or bring your children you should come and see this event. Natchez is always filled with “characters,” but this is a once a year event where the streets are filled with everyone from Elvis to Captain Jack Sparrow.
This is a great opportunity to have safe, family fun and support Natchez and its local businesses. Help make this the best Halloween ever and come Trick or Treat on Natchez streets.
Once again, merchants on Main Street, Franklin and Commerce will be handing out candy and going all out for Halloween from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!
