Natchez native, engineer awarded by Air Force

JOINT BASE LANLEY-EUSTIS, Va. — Natchez native and Air Force engineer John McDuffie Jr. was recently selected as the 2011 Federal Energy Management Program award winner.
The award recognizes remarkable contributions to the field of energy management.
After graduating from South Natchez High School in 1979, McDuffie joined the Air Force. He served for 30 years before retiring, and was then hired as an Air Force civil engineer.
He is the son of Alberta Johnson McDuffie and John McDuffie Sr. of Natchez.
