Community invited to university

The Natchez-Adams School District will host a Parent University from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today in the Natchez High School auditorium.
The focus of this forum is to empower parents with strategic approaches that will enhance the academic performance of students.
Both educators and parents are accountable for ensuring that today’s youth are adequately prepared for their futures.
Consequently, it is increasingly important that parents and teachers work collectively in the best interest of the students.
The Natchez-Adams School District requests the presence of parents, teachers and community stakeholders to become proactive in the quest to better serve the students of Natchez’s public schools.
The theme for the Parent University is “teaming for student achievement.”
All sessions will engage parents in activities to help enrich the educational competencies of their children.
Presenters will include teachers from Frazier Primary, West Primary, McLaurin Elementary, Morgantown Elementary, Robert Lewis Middle School and Natchez High School. Incentives and door prizes will be presented during the various sessions.
We look forward to seeing you tonight for another vivacious educational extravaganza.
