NATCHEZ — Natchez the Magazine, a lifestyle magazine published by Natchez Newspapers Inc., recently won first place in a national competition.

Natchez the Magazine placed first in the “stand-alone publications” category of the Inland Press Foundation’s Business Development Contest.

The awards were given in August, in Omaha, Neb. Publications from Michigan placed second and third in the same category.

The contest’s judges comments about Natchez the Magazine were, “High-end looks. Nice collection of articles and photography. Superb setting for advertisers.”
