LORMAN — Yufeng Zheng, assistant professor in the computer network and information technology program, department of advanced technologies at Alcorn, was recently honored as a Cisco certified network professional.
In addition to earning a certificate in CCNP, Zheng earned two additional certificates in Cisco Certified Network Associate and CCNA Security which will greatly help to lead students to become certified in their chosen field of study.
“The CCNA is one of the most popular certifications in the networking industry. The undergraduate students who major in CNIT are expected to get their Network+ and CCNA certificates before they graduate,” Zheng said. “The industry certifications will help consolidate students’ classroom knowledge, as well as help to enhance their professional career.”
