Opinions reflect liberal hogwash

I read the Opinion section of The Democrat Tuesday with much interest.

It is apparent that some of the staff should have taken Economics 101 and, or, Politics 101 in college instead of spending their time being brainwashed by their liberal journalism teachers.

On point, S&P downgraded the U.S. because for the past 10 years Congress has been spending like a bunch of drunken sailors and shows no signs of changing its ways. The Democrats scream like stuck pigs, blaming the Tea Party folks. Where have the Democrats been when they had the majority? They could have joined with the rest of the Republicans and 38 Tea Party voters and would not mean a thing. Consider that the Tea Party folks might be right and the rest of Congress wrong.

Point two, there were a lot more Democratic voters than Republican voters in the primary because just about all local races had only Democratic registered candidates. Remember all politics are local.

Point three, as to the HUD grants to help people fix up their houses — where do you think that money came from? Do you think the squirrels dug it up in the Capitol lawn? How would you like it if the county supervisors raised your taxes to do the same thing?

Point four, I have a master’s of business administration degree from that liberal think tank, University of Chicago.
