GRANDVIEW, Mo. — Gaylin Gwyn Johnson of Natchez has just returned from St. Louis, having successfully completed the course in personal property appraisal at the Certified Appraisers Guild of America.

The certification was awarded along with men and women appraisers from throughout the U.S.

The concentrated course is conducted by the Certified Appraiser Gild of America. The guild is the largest trainer of personal property appraisers. The training included lectures and workshops featuring prominent appraisers from throughout America and Canada.

Subjects covered included the appraisal of antiques, farm, livestock and business properties. The course also included the requirements fro valuing estates, bankruptcy, insurance, divorce and providing expert testimony in court.
