NATCHEZ — The trial for Willie Edward “Tight Knight” Knight has been pushed back to November after defense attorney Eileen Maher requested a continuance, according to the district attorney’s office.
A representative with the office said Maher had another commitment.
Knight is accused of burglarizing more than 10 and up to at least 15 cars in neighborhoods in the U.S. 61 South area, mostly between March and mid-July 2010.
He also faces charges of failure to register as a sex offender, burglary of a dwelling, possession of burglary tools, possession of two weapons by a convicted felon and weapon possession charges in Jefferson County.
