Junior Ranger camp was great for kids

I just wanted to tell you what a fabulous time our visiting 12-year-old grandson had and to publicly thank the rangers and the National Park Service for the wonderful Junior Ranger camp July 11-15.
They did an outstanding job with the kids, kept them busy and interested from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. — no easy feat with 25 children, 8 to 12 years old.
History lessons, Indian games, field trips to Frogmore, photography exhibits, a tour of the old jail and, the highlight of the week, fishing.
All this and graduation too, complete with a certificate, badge and pin.
This was a wonderful experience for him and one he won’t soon forget.
Many thanks to all.
What a wonderful service to Natchez, the children, parents and grandparents.
