Trip to Natchez was worthwhile

I had the occasion to visit Natchez recently to see my family who was visiting there.

My first stop was the Visitor Reception Center last Saturday. All my questions about lodging were answered, and I was given a map to find my way to a motel, along with the information I sought about prices per night.

Once I found lodging in Natchez I was unable to find where my family was staying, though I knew the address.

I called the visitors bureau and a wonderful lady listened to my request and gave me specific directions on how to find where my family was staying — since it was my only grandson’s birthday, it was important to me to be with him on that day.

The directions I was given worked perfectly, and my grandson and I were together for his eighth birthday.

I had two contacts with the visitors bureau on Saturday, in person and then by phone. In both instances I was given the information I asked for.

So, to be sure, I am telling anyone who will listen to go to Natchez.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you.
