NATCHEZ — The Glitter Boys, an ’80s-style rock and roll band, will play to crowds at 9 p.m. tonight in Natchez at Doc Big Love’s for a cause.
Joined by the Blue Haired Mafia, The Glitter Boys drummer Jody Stallone, a Natchez native, said a portion of the proceeds will benefit those affected by the Mississippi River flood.
“We had the show booked already, but after all this happened, we thought we should give a little back,” Stallone said. “We know there is not much flooding in Natchez, but people will be in need, and if we can help, we do.”
Stallone said he would like to see lots of local people come out for the show.
“Come out, have a good time and listen to some good ’80s-style rock and roll,” Stallone said. “Secondly, come out for a good cause that everyone in the area is affected by. Everyone in Natchez is feeling something from this flood. It’s not asking too much.”
Stallone said The Glitter Boys will be rolling out to play with bands including Poison and Motley Crue at the Rocklahoma music festival next weekend.
Doc Big Love’s is located at 408 Main Street.
